Hello. دیکهو. Hola. こんにちは. Jambo.
Greetings and Happy New Year!
I’m Ejohnay D. Crooks, President of the Alpha Chapter of Nu Delta Phi (NDP) Leadership Society, Incorporated.
We are a Rites of Passage and Leadership Program dedicated to empowering women of color. Our culture is rooted in excellence, collaboration, and integrity. We celebrate diversity, embrace bold ideas, and foster a community where every voice matters. Guided by our pillars of Self-Preservation, Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship, and Success, we aim to uplift, inspire, and support the growth of our members and the communities we serve.
This year, we embrace the theme “Renew, Reclaim, and Rise.” Together, we reset our focus, reclaim our power, and rise to new heights. Through mentorship, leadership, and meaningful opportunities, we honor the legacies of those before us while paving the way for future generations.
Welcome to a space where innovation thrives, challenges become opportunities, and every woman is celebrated as a trailblazer shaping a more equitable future.
In Sisterhood,
Ejohnay D. Crooks
President, Alpha Chapter
January is Cervical Health Awareness Month, which focuses on cervical cancer prevention and screening. Nu Delta Phi proudly stands with the National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) in recognizing January as Cervical Health Awareness Month. We support NCCC’s mission to promote cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and education about HPV vaccination and regular screenings. As advocates for health and wellness, we encourage our members and community to prioritize cervical health and raise awareness about the importance of prevention. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against cervical cancer. #CervicalHealthAwareness #NuDeltaPhi #NDP4LIFE #NCCC #PreventionMatters

In spirit of Sankofa, the Esteemed Ladies of Nu Delta Phi Leadership Society, Inc. are continuously learning about self, history, and life. While moving forward to make their lives fruitful, they are simultaneously planting seeds for the future generations to excel and become successful leaders. Nu Delta Phi Leadership Society, Incorporated is a Greek-lettered organization that offers vital pathways for educational achievement, increasing retention/graduation rates, and maximizing the college experience through academic, cultural responsiveness, professional and social development.
Our mission is to increase, encourage, and support the overall positive progression of female students of color in higher education, specifically the underrepresented African, African American/Black, Caribbean, and Latin/Hispanic.
It is through building a positive Self-Definition that our young women of color will be able to stand solid on Self-Preservation, Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship and Success.
